Advertising Gainesville VA – CommuterTisements

COMMUTERtisements is a new on-line community for commuters to explore ways to turn their commutes into something that will better serve them. Our tagline is “Cash In On Your Commute”. When driving to work one day, I realized that my car would make a great billboard. However, I wondered how I could attract an advertiser willing to pay me to wrap my car in their advertisements. Then, I came up with the idea to create this business, an internet-based matchmaking venue that introduces organizations to commuters willing to offer advertising space on their vehicles.

There are over 128 million commuters in the United States of America. The goal of COMMUTERtisements is to provide these 128 million commuters with the opportunity to reduce their expenses, make their time in the car more worthwhile, and possibly generate some additional cash. As prices move closer to four dollars per gallon, America’s driving commuters will be soon be spending on average $1.89 per commute.

When I drive to work every day, I pass hundreds (if not thousands) of other commuters on the road. If you have a business, this is a great way to get your name out there! A 2 inch square advertisement in a major newspaper may cost as much as $5,200 per month, and an outdoor billboard will cost between $1,200 and $200,000 per month! For a vehicle wrap (essentially turning your car into a billboard), COMMUTERtisements suggests an average price of $150 per month.

COMMUTERtisements is for commuters and those looking to alternative methods of advertisement. So, if you are a commuter or advertiser, I encourage you to join our community today, join our groups, share with us in our forums, and complete our ‘Drive Ads’ and/or ‘Seek Drivers’ forms. Let’s Cash In On Our Commutes!
